MEET CHARLEY
A little bit about me.
I first became interested in manual therapy when I was about 10 years old, selling hand massages at youth club for 20p! Sport has always been a huge part of my life, and this lead me to have an interest in Anatomy and Physiology.
My dad then introduced me to Osteopathy and I loved that it combined manual therapy, with a holistic, patient-centered approach.
Watching my mum suffer, and unfortunately lost her battle with cancer, had a huge impact on me, and inspired a real passion to help people and make a difference to their lives.
I qualified from the University College of Osteopathy in 2020, with a Master's degree in Osteopathy.
My approach to treatment.
My approach to treatment is predominately structurally based, using hands-on techniques to assess, treat, and improve how your body moves and functions.
I have a strong focus on the biopsychosocial model - looking at how physical, psychological and social factors can influence your symptoms and recovery. I take the time to listen, understand your story, and work with you to get to the bottom of it.
My goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and support you need to feel better, and stay better.
